What TrackName checks
Follow changes
across your domain.
Review registration records alongside website, DNS and availability checks. Results include the data source and check time.
01
Registration & expiry
Check whether a domain is registered and follow its published expiry date, status and transfer locks. Get reminders when a published expiry date approaches.
Expiry reminders · Availability · Domain status
02
Registration changes
See when a domain changes registrar or nameservers. Follow updates to published contact records where that information is available.
Registrar · Nameservers · Published records
03
Website & certificates
Detect changes to page content, keywords and screenshots. Monitor certificate validity and expiry, and follow records of newly issued certificates.
Content & screenshots · SSL/TLS · New certificates
04
DNS & email records
Compare DNS records over time, including the records used for email authentication. Check DNSSEC and follow changes to SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
DNS records · DNSSEC · SPF, DKIM & DMARC
05
Uptime & performance
Check whether websites and services respond. Track slower responses against a domain’s usual performance, with a clear distinction between a service failure and a check that could not complete.
HTTP availability · Service ports · Response times

Questions about monitoring
What to know
before you start.
Do I need to own the domain?
No. You can monitor public information about a domain you are interested in, as well as domains you own. TrackName does not buy, sell or reserve domain names.
Do I have to transfer my domain?
No. Your domain stays with its current registrar and hosting provider. TrackName monitors it without handling registration or renewal.
What is in the daily email?
Selected confirmed changes and enabled expiry reminders arrive together in one daily email, grouped by domain. Choose topics for each domain. If there are no updates, no email is sent.
Can you tell me when a domain will be available?
TrackName follows published registration status. An expiry date does not guarantee availability: the owner may renew the domain, and release rules vary by registry.
What happens when data is missing?
Registries and registrars may withhold contact details or omit an expiry date. Checks can also fail to return a result. TrackName reports these limits instead of treating missing data as a confirmed change.
What happens after I enter a domain?
Review your domain count and choose monthly or yearly billing, then continue to Stripe Checkout. After payment is confirmed, open the setup email, create your account and activate monitoring. This preview uses test payments only; no real charge is made.
